Below you will find a link to a jigsaw puzzle that Mrs. Corrieri created from an image of a tree she found on the Internet. Your mission is to put the puzzle back together and when completed look at the image and using the Discussion feature on this page write a short, creative essay describing what you see in the tree! I wonder if you'll see what I see? Remember to use complete sentences, proper grammar, punctuation and spelling.

Directions:
1. Grab a piece of paper and pencil to write write down your impressions when you complete the puzzle.
2. Click on this link which will bring you to the web page with the jigsaw puzzle.
3. Use your mouse to click and drag the pieces of the puzzle to put it back together. HINT: It might be helpful to first find the 4 end pieces and fill in the outside of the puzzle first.
4. Take time to look at the image on the puzzle and write down words that describe the image.
5. Take your words and write a creative essay about the image-- remembering to use adjectives!
6. Navigate back to this page and post your descriptive essay using the Discussion feature. Please write Tree Puzzle in the subject box and then the essay in the message box. Also remember to proof read for errors BEFORE clicking on the Post option.
7. Complete your scoring guide and staple it to your notes about the puzzle and the draft of your post.
8. Turn your scoring guide, notes, and draft in on the gray shelves in the classroom on Friday morning.
